The Memory Stick Micro (M2) is designed to meet the growing storage needs of highly compact, multifunctional mobile phones. Exchange data with standard-size Memory Stick PRO compatible products by inserting the M2 into an adapter (sold seperately). M2 is approximately one-quarter the size of Memory Stick PRO Duo media, and only about 1.2 mm thick. Because it's dual-voltage it can be used with both mobile phones (1.8 volts) and Memory Stick PRO compatible products operating at 3.3 volts.

Please note that some older handsets will require a software upgrade to improve card speeds.

Features:
Dual voltage: 1.8v and 3.3v
Memory Stick interface (serial / parallel)
Average operating current: max 65 mA (serial transfer)
max 100 mA (parallel transfer)
Memory Stick PRO compatible
Minimum write speed: 15 Mbps
Environmental temperature: -25ºC to 85ºC non-condensing
Dimensions (W x L x T): approx. 12.5 x 15 x 1.2 mm
Weight: approx. 1 g
Please note: Adapter not included.

Yes, I think people are voting it cold based on that, when in fact it is a M2 4GB Card, retailing for up to £35 elsewhere

4GB M2s have been falling since I bought mine in late 2007 for about £30 from http://www.mobymemory.com/ but £8.99 delivered is still a good price, so voted hot. If you have a Sony camera phone which uses these, and you've not added any memory, do yourself and add one, so you can use the phone as a practical MP3 player and shoot at full quality without guilt!
