I'm looking to buy an 8gb M2 - whats the best price you have found?
#8
8gigs have jumped in price in the last week, i think because the exchange rate has gone down the toilet. They were easy to find at £20 ten days ago, now they are more like £30 in most places. Play have them for £25 delivered, that's actually a pretty good price. I found an Amazon marketplace seller doing them for £22 inc delivery but I doubt there's any more at that price right now...

Does anyone know if this will work with a Sony Ericsson K800i?

Thanks.

#14
No i dont think they need updated firmware for a 4gb card
#15
will this work with m3 card for the nintendo ds?
#16
If only I'd waited a couple of weeks longer then, I bought it when it was £12.99 for my K800i... ah well.

Voted hot :)

EDIT: My memory is incorrect - thesaint in post #25 is correct.

You sure as I thought it only took Micro M2?
#18
thanks very nice deal was looking for one, just ordered
#19
When I said you had to upgrade the firmware, I was talking about the 8gb, the 4gb works fine apparently.... and the M2 is the micro format. That's why the one in the OP comes with an adapter.

I paid £56 duty free for my 512mb M2...doesn't seem that long ago :'o(

No you need a Micro SD card, an 8GB one is £11.99(Assuming that your card can take high capacity ones).

You need the firmware updating past 2.80 I believe.

Thanks for that link :) I've been looking for a cheap 8gb to replace my 2gb card and this is cheaper than the cheapest price I spotted on ebay

Ah, you're right - my mistake that's how much I paid - not £12.99.

Evidently I was remembering that I'd saw something similar for £12.99 (what it was, I forget now) and got it confused.

Not so bad then... but 50p is still 50p and I'm a cheapskate :p
