30p cheaper than Play's 2 GB SanDisk Micro SD at £13.49 delivered! http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/3251313/Sandisk-Micro-SD-2GB/Product.html

I'm still waiting for the deal below a tenner ;-)

Same as me.

I'm too cheap to buy at these prices.
#3
Should be under a tenner by Xmas but there will probably be a new format by then :)
#4
My phone will still be using micro SD at Christmas ;-)

I wasn't suggesting otherwise. I was having a tongue-in-cheek pop at the memory manufacturers. :)

Between this one and the much faster version (Ultra II for £3 more) I'd go for the Ultra version anytime!
If you'd like to save 2 or 3 pounds, feel free to wait another 6 months or more, the price won't go much lower than that by that time! ;-)

Tidy price here - voted hot.

I checked there earlier, before posting the deal and it was £13.49, the same as play.com.

Nothing wrong with competition!!:-D

I'd go for this one, worth the extra 30p to deal with play.com rather than some random company.
#13
Yay that means even more games on my Nintendo DS ;-)

I'm on my third micro-sd card, my DS Simply broke the last two. Latest one is working with an R4 card.

Anyone know what the difference between Ultra II and Premier is because I would rather get it from Play.com but they sell the Premier ones and w2w.com sell the Ultra II ones?
#17
does it come with adaptor???

I paid over £40 for my first 2GB Micro SD !!! A couple of quid is neither here nor there to be honest IMHO.

Good price. Voted Hot.

lol flash memory has come a long way baby.

I remember when 128mb Sony MS DUO's came out at first, I paid £25 for that. Then when the 512mbs finally came out, I shelled out £45 ... oh well :whistling:

I have been trying to find the answer to that question for a couple of weeks now. Nothing on the Sandisk either except to say that the Premier is the latest version of the microsd card released. Seems like read/write speeds are the same for both versions.

I am holding out waiting for Amazon to bring down their delivery times on the premier (currently 4-6 weeks) to order with them with vouchers. Amazon is selling the Premier for £17.62 and the Ultra II for £16.54

Hi oohah , I, like many on here I guess, have had plenty of bargains from play.com.
Ocassionally they have the odd blip, obvious misprices aren't honoured - surprise surprise but in general I would always shop there over a internet shop I hadn't heard of, even if it's a few pence more.
#25
i would rather shop elsewhere, even if it was a few pence more. play are certainly not always the cheapest and its worth shopping around.

as Riyazi has already mentioned - the Premier ones are the newer ones - but it seems Sandisk has simply changed the name and otherwise they're the same.

and at £15.19 - it seems Davoom are again cheaper with the Ultra2 one too

Well that depends - if you need it for an mp3 player then it doesn't really matter how fast the access is...now cameras are a different matter...

Not without an adapter. A standard SD card would be perfect for this. May I suggest this:

No difference in speeds or capacity, just the Premier has TrustedFlash (DRM) technology, Digital Rights Management, i even rang america Sandisk, the guy was clueless. but i did a little digging:

http://www.sandisk.com/OEM/Default.aspx?CatID=1639

http://www.engadget.com/2005/09/28/sandisk-trustedflash-rolls-out-with-built-in-copy-protection/

UltraII all the way for me.

cheapest i've seen the UltraII is : http://www.valueshop.co.uk/sdc_sandisk.asp

for the 2GB UltraII 14.39inc VAT delivered

Als remember you would need an SDHC card at class 10 to match UltraII/Premier speeds

Thanks for that, 2 bagged for just over £20 cant complain.
