I bought the 4gb one, and my god its quiet. No matter which head phones I used I still had to go back to my ipod.

Thats becasue you need to set it to the rest of the world - reset the thing and do it - then its loud.

Superb MP3 player. Small, great battery life and very intuitive, unlike many.

OH had this and said it was good until the scroll wheel broke. Then it was unable to skip tracks or navigate the menus. Was good until then...

Scroll wheel? It's a d-pad sort of affair on the Clip+?

Also - Rockbox it and it will deafen you with decent cans.

This is a superb product. The FLAC support really hyped it for me, the sound quality is amazing. I have had mine for 2 years now, still going strong. If you all want from a product is superb sound quality and good battery life then get this. Obviously if you want videos and photos etc then stick with your smartphone or another device ... but for music terms alone this is hard to beat.

Got a refurb on ebay for just under £20 when I lost my last one. (Which was £20 new) Refurb is fine.

I tried to reset mine and it wouldn't do it :( Ended up buying the 4gb Nano for £49 from Argos which was a deal on here some time ago :)

Great little player. Broke my clip for the second time, first time Amazon replaced it.

It's this. Open source firmware that can act in all manner of ways and give support for extra codecs such as OGG, MPC and FLAC, plus some esoteric fancy audiophile settings like crossfeeding. Free and a cinch to install, plus you can load the original hardware anytime by holding a button down on boot.

    Sansa Clip + version here.

Great piece of kit BTW, better rated sound than all mobile phones bar the Galaxy S and S III (yes, even the iPhone), and better rated than all mp3 players bar some classic iPods and some Cowons. Couple it with high quality files such as FLAC and Apple Lossless and some high quality headphones such as Sennheiser HD25 II / HD650, AKG K701, Grado SR80s etc and you will hear stuff you'd never heard before in your music. It's like the jump from SDTV to HDTV.

Does this player support bluetooth headphones?

Hot in the sense it is one of the best mp3 players in that price range for audiophiles like me who love FLAC. However the price is still a little bit too high for me. I am hoping that it will come down in price at some point soon. I got the Radiopaq earphones on here really cheap so this would be nice to go along with it. At the moment I am using a CD Walkman.
