Coming up at £39.99 for me, and i thought the old clip had a circular shaped control but the new clip+ has a squarish shaped control.... as the one does in the OP's picture.
#5
indeedy, he must have changed it already :)

Could that be because

PC world
Dixons
Currys

are all owned by the same company:thinking:

I love my original 2gig clip. So getting one of these!
#16
It showed as £39.99 and then when I refreshed the screen it was £49.99. Good old Currys!

No need to be a smartarse. Not everyone knows that and they usually differ ALOT on some items.

The other half got me one of these last month. Simple to use mp3 player and it very highly rated online.
#18
oh you beauty!! i had the 4gb on order from play.com for the same price. Luckily it was still out of stock so managed to cancel and i've ordered this one instead :-)

Really ....well I never knew that :whistling:

That said the reduction last week on this device at Dixons was lower than Currys or PCWorld if I remember correctly .. so they not always the same

My school bought a load of these for the languages department, and I don't really like them that much. Definitely not worth £39.99 imho.
#21
This is about the only cheapo player that can do .flac format though, worth it if you like flac.
#22
Super hot - have some heat and rep

Thank you

Figured it out - search for clip to bring up the result showing it at £39.99 and add it to your basket. Shows as £49.99 but then use voucher code XMAS5 and it corrects itself back to £39.99 (the voucher code is meant to be 5% of £300 spend)
#24
This is the perfect price point, i cannot recommend this highly enough.
Snap it up!!

I have the 8gb sliver (original) but am seriously tempted.
Apart from the microsd card slot is there any improvements in this version?

You must me an Apple fan boy or just looking for attention.

These mp3 players are amazingly good value, I have read reviews stating the output quality is superior to Ipods. I currently have the 2GB and it faultless and you don't even notice you're wearing it. One thing I would say is ditch the oe ear phones and team it up with a set of sennheiser cx-300s.

I challenge you to find a review that isn't 8+ and glowing.

Anyone know how good the voice recorder is on this one?
Does it catch sounds from across a room?

Would imagine you would need a boom mic or zoom type mic for that. Think its for dictaphone purposes.

Not sure if this helps but when using the original sansa I would put it on a desk and during a lecture in a small room it could capture everything.

Whether you like it or not, it definitely IS worth £39.99. Sound quality from these is top notch (unlike iPoods). Right up there with Sony and Samsung players, just lacks some of the bells and whistles a lot of their models come with. But if it's just music you're after, this will do you a treat.

Great deal, if I didn't have a Sammy P3 already I'd pick one of these up.
#38
i'm so glad that phones have decent music support, meaning I don't need to buy an MP3 player to listen to good music.

I hope you don't keep your phone in your pocket all day when you listen to music on your phone :whistling:
