Slight error in your title, this is the E260 not the E280 - the latter has 8GB capacity rather than 4GB. To be honest I don't think this is a great deal, for 70 pounds you can have an additional 50% capacity with the E270 (6GB) or 75 pounds gets you double the capacity in the E280 (8GB).

now £58.69 delivered :)

For an extra £16.30, you can get 8GB E280 player from Amazon UK:)

I agree with Johnmd7, although a good price for a 4GB i think there are now better players out there for not too much more after Apple have generally lowered prices with there new nano pricing.

Welcome to HUKD BKOK :)

8GB for £75 for an excellent nano-type player beats Apple's prices.

This item has expandable memory, which is very very cheap.. which is why I think this deal isnt bad. As far as it goes against Nanos... alot of the reviews from Amazon say there is NO competition.

I have an E280 and very pleased with it, I think it's worth paying a little more to get the either 2GB or 4GB more capacity as these models also have expandable memory.

I know this is a low price for what you get its just that i don't think it plays aac and its also about a year old now, also now that apples new 8gb nano is only ~£120 a lot of players will probably be getting cheaper inlcuding newer models.

It doesn't play aac but it does support wma - it can also be expanded by another couple of GB for just £12.49.

A major advantage of these devices is that they support standard mass storage - this means you can plug it in and drag and drop as you want, no software required. This is the main reason I went for one, I don't like having to rely on software or drivers to interface with my mp3 player.
