Why the negative votes?

Yes you can get cheaper 16GB memory sticks but this is a Titanium Cruzer. I have owned several memory sticks and they either stop working or incredibly slow. Since using these sticks I have had absolutely no problems.

You get what you pay for, depends if you value your time/data :)

Good price for what it is I guess. Doesn't seem to be any cheaper anywhere else. But is it good value for money for the majority of people?

Genuine question as I'm currently after a 16gb USB drive.
What does the titanium Cruzer offer over the standard Cruzer they have at Play for £16?

Is it just the casing or is it something else too?

You can get it for £22.40 if you use the voucher http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/374599/wh-smith-20-off-in-store-printable-/

It's just a bit more solid if you tend to keep your stick in your pockets with keys etc.

I have a titanium and plastic 8gb. The titanium is a lot stronger (obviously) but I think the titanium also gives you full versions of the U3 software. Not 100% sure, I never use it. Worth mentioning these drives can be incompatible occasionally with some devices. I put some pictures on mine and took to asda for printing. Their machines can't read them because of the U3 stuff. best to format as a standard drive if it's not needed.

Cheers.

A very good question. I can't find it cheaper elsewhere, which makes it a good deal for this model and size as far as I am concerned. And with the voucher it's a no-brainer . Could it be the fleabay sellers dissing it so they can buy up the stock? Or the U3 dissers maybe?

Glad to see you weren't put off by the people who voted cold for no reason.

This is a great deal, picked one up yesterday and used their 20/10% off card they give out in the shop and a £5 voucher so only cost me £20.69. This will be my third now have the 4GB, 8GB and now the 16GB.

Thx

Same on this thread http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/371610/sandisk-4gb-cruzer-titanium-usb-fla/ with posters comparing inferior flash drives with it because they are cheaper!

I think this is a good deal as over on Amazon UK it would set you back £35.55p.

Heat and Rep from me as I'm off to see if I can buy a couple from my local.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Well, my local branch finally had some in stock. :)
Thanks to normal for the tip on the vouchers.
16GB of Titanium Cruzer for £23!! :-D
I don't care how many people voted it cold
#15
No idea why this is cold, other than that there must be an awful lot of people who don't know about the price of the things they're voting on - this is a good price for this item - even better with the £5 off voucher - not much more than half of Amazon's price for the same thing. Heat added, thank you.

It's depressing how people don't vote on like for like products/price. Ok, I could get some knock off unreliable stick for less, but these are great and my only criticism is that chuck u posted it a week after I'd bought an 8gb for £15!
#17
Just got my 16gb titanium today (upgrading from my existing 8gb, which in turn was an upgrade from my 2gb). The only minor disappointment is that the LED is now orange, not blue :(
#18
Ok, ok it was agood deal, but being practical, the price of these instore have gone upto £29.99. All my local ones have no stock so it means a journey abit further out, by the time uve paid, petrol/bus fair u wont be getting it for less than £27.99 which is the price they have it for on there website. So not a great deal but still the cheapest, next cheapest is Play.com @ £32.99. I might order online. Does Quidco track from WHSMITH?

Edit: it does but only 2% i think.

Heat added. Great product, at the best price thus far :)

my mates 4gig does 31meg max and around 29.5 average

the 16gig does 24.5 max 24ish average

shame but still a nice stick
