These are nice drives. A pity I'm not in the market for one :)

8GB isn't much use for my needs. I can't see how it's much use to anyone really. I read, and re-read the info trying to make myself need one lol, but it just hasn't happened.

damnit now everyone needs to throw out all stocks of 8gb sticks because YOU cant see a use for them.
if only you weren't so important that everyone had to conform to your needs we'd be ok.

What?

It can be used as an xbox memory card
It can fit about 10 full length movies on
If you're just looking for transportable storage for docs, student stuff, work and I doubt anyone would need 8gb for that.
MP3s, you'd be looking at about 6000-7000
You could even install windows and plenty of apps and use it as a backup boot drive.

No use to anyone? Don't be so bloody ridiculous.

i use these for my uni course, Java programs can be easily stored on these and give me quick access to edit where ever i am i can even store J-Create on the drive at the same time. also this size make great USB boot installers for Win 7 or OSX

I have several 4GB ones I have a need for, I have some 2Gb ones that are perfect for their use (college stuff), and I have a 4Gb dropbox too of course. If I wanted much more than that I'd just get a 2.5" HD, as I can't see a need for a 32Gb stick.

Haha. Fair play. I was guessing a ball park figure and didn't do the maths. Still approx 2000.

Thanks for pulling me up on that one. I just found the "useless 8mb stick" comment outrageous. :)
