These have a problem with getting extremely hot due to their compact size not being able to disperse heat.

It seems there are at least 2 different versions with 2 different bar codes. The ones in the Plymouth store don't have the little yellow "5x" speed image on the box and have the bar code 61965914487. They were price at £12.

My 64gb one is about 6 months old in daily use and gets extremely hot but hasn't failed yet

Sounds ideal for use in something like a HP microserver then that continually draws air across the motherboard.

It's a shame really?, but, oh well ... lol.

Didn't realise this was such a good deal. I only bought one and someone's gone and cleared the shelf :{ That said I only needed one anyway.
