This is a pretty nice upgrade if you have a laptop or desktop with a standard HDD.

Sequential Read (Up To) 530MB/s
Sequential Write (Up To) 290MB/s

Not the fastest but at £45.87 (inc delivery) for 128GB SSD and directly from amazon (Great Returns Policy) you cant really go wrong!

£45.85 now! Not much, but every penny counts!

Thanks. I was looking at spending £43 on the normal SanDisk SSD but for £3 more I couldn't resist buying this over it.

Does anyone know why there is price £69 for desktop 2.5'', and £45 for laptop 2.5''? Whats the difference and cant I use the same one in laptop or desktop?

The desktop option includes the mounting kit. tbh ssds are so light and have no moving parts they can be mounted pretty much anywhere and if you really need the mounting bracket you can get it for £2 separately (link)

Very light. I just use 2x2 velcro pads to hold mine in a desktop.

I'm looking to upgrade to SSD and was going to get the Samsung evo but is it worth the £10 more than this one?
#20
you could even use a 5" nail through the centre of the drive that should hold it:D.
Purchased 3 ssd's over the last 6 weeks one in my laptop then had to upgrade my dads laptop to ssd & then my mothers laptop( used Crucial, Toshiba Q, & Sandisk above). Just looking for a good price now on a half TB for my desktop

the Samsung evo has a better write speed, in last months pc magazine was a group test of all ssd's and they did not see much difference between them, if you can live with slower write then this looks a good deal.
