This is the best price i've seen this at, it's on a this week only deal on Overclockers UK at the moment.

A good deal for people who have been registered on their forums for a while (and get free delivery). Or pick it up in store if your near Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

For those not eligible for free delivery it'll cost about £3-£4 more and is probably not for you (ebuyer is doing this for £49 iirc).

EDIT - Now out of stock on eBuyer & £57.99 on Amazon.

Capacity: 128GB
Sequential Read: 530MB/s
Sequential Write: 290MB/s

Same price but from amazon and it doesn't matter if you are a forum member or not for free delivery. Personally, I'd prefer the ease of returns offered by Amazon.

Also for anyone who's about to say it does not come with the same 3 year warranty, it appears to be a typo as Sandisk state here that they come with a 3 year warranty.

I wouldnt, HDD still offer better £/Gb, and SSD's still arent real world age tested

Putting one of these in my pc will cost £50 and give me 10s faster boot.... woooo......

It's not just about boot times; the whole system feels 'snappier', things load instantly & ssds don't suffer the same slowdown due to fragmentation that you would get with a regular hdd. The difference between a bog standard laptop hdd and an ssd is quite noticeable imo.

100% agreed. Admittedly I've got a pretty fast processor, but I practically don't have to wait for my PC to do anything now. I installed one in my mum's laptop and she couldn't believe it either - "it's like a new computer!" is what she said too.

My guess is Runeoth hasn't ever actually used one - and they give me a hell of a lot quicker boot time than just shaving off 10s too!

I had decided to go the Flubit route just before I saw this update on Amazon. I haven't had the best of luck with Flubit previously but they gave a price of £36.97 and estimated delivery date of 6th -12th August so I decided to take the plunge. Hopefully, they pull through.

I put an M500 in my mac and from pressing the on button it takes 8 seconds to boot, or 4 seconds from the apple logo appearing, all apps open within a second, it really is worth the money and failure rates have dramatically improved. My M500 hasn't showed any signs of slowing down either.
Not to mention the fact my mac also runs silently now, barring that bloody annoying noise the optical drive makes when turning on or waking from sleep.
