Bought this for my father good set with good reviews on forums. Lowest price for a well specced LED 100hz tv. Many believe this to be a Samsung tv.

With a Full High Definition resolution and generous screen size, the 40-inch Sandstrom S40LDIB10 offers a compelling window into the world of movies, TV and gaming. Featuring Sandstrom Motion Adaptive picture engine technology which enhances and optimises your viewing experience and with built-in acoustically enhanced speakers this HDTV will impress you with its picture and sound quality! It also boasts 100Hz technology for brilliant motion clarity. The LED backlight reduces energy consumption while improving brightness.

Four HDMI connectors let you hook up multiple HD devices at the same time, so you can avoid the tedium of unplugging the game console so you can plug in the Blu-ray player.

With a depth of only 35 millimetres, the Sandstrom S40LDIB10 looks sophisticated and modern. It comes with a stand but is also wall-mountable, which means it can easily go into any room of your house, including the bedroom.

Using a Samsung panel and being a Samsung TV are two very different things.

Jittery picture, tinny sound and no support for Sky+ remotes are some of the issues mentioned in the following thread...

This tv is excellent, I'm a samsung fan, and I usually only buy the most expensive and best tech around. Yes the Samsung screens are better than this tv. But after looking thoroughly at all the competitors. Samsungs led's were the only tv that you could distinguish a real difference from the sandstorm, lg, Sony etc looked the same (worse in some cases) when compared to the sandstrom. With the price difference I thoroughly recommend buying this tv. I have sky HD and have had 0 problems with this tv. It's fantastic for the price, you will not get better bang for bug. End of discussion.
