Nice little piece of kit if you can get one at this price - a fraction of the price of an iPod and every bit as good.
#2
Good if you can get one......even through im a , sony man............ha
#3
Looks a nice bit of kit. But why do people put a generic link to Asda in? It's just frustrating.
#4
You have to put in a merchant, sorry.
#5
Anybody know if these have built in batterys? Or come with rechargeables? Bought my mam an mp3 and have to keep changing the batterys
#6
Bought my eldest one of these a couple of months back and thought it was a cracking deal for £30.
It doesn't mess around with album covers and the internet, it plays music, and plays it bloody well!

Built in radio and the battery lasts forever, best thing about this is the quality of the sound though. I understand sansa have a good reputation for using better quality hi-fi/sound chips and it stands out a mile on this.

Couple this with a decent set of senneheiser headphones for 10-15 at play and this machine stomps all over any ipod under £100.

No messing on with itunes either, just drag and drop your mp3's.

Heat and rep!

charges via a usb on the pc

I've got one of these for gym/running. Better sound than my iPod. Cracking little device and a steal at this price.
#9
ive got one to, with a 4gb card pushed in it to make it 8gb in total, i find it so much easier to navagate than an ipod, drag and drop to put your files on it, excellent sound quality and over all a top buy. Got mine for £50 with the 4gb micro sd card about 18 months ago and feel it was more than worth that price, if you can get one for less than £20 then its an absolute steal.

Just as an afterthought i use this bit of software to number and name my MP3s that ive downloaded to make them easier to find on Mp3 players, maybe its of use to someone else. http://www.nch.com.au/tageditor/index.html

i have one of these and it's great, mine is the 8gb version and i've added a 16gb micro sd card to it. it's super light, good battery life, the sound is good and it just works.

you can find skins, screen protectors and arm bands on ebay and amazon pretty easily.

great deal, HOT

I would love one of these (posted a request a while back for one) - if anyone gets the chance to buy one, I would be more than willing to meet any costs you incur if you buy a spare for me.

Tried the Asdas round me and none available.
#13
Anyone know of a link to this great looking deal?
#14
Going to go to ASDA in Ashton tomorrow morning fingers crossed they'll be at this price, I already have some senneheiser headphones which are amazing and from what I've been reading this little gadget is the real deal too. HOTT!!!
#15
awesome, agree with all the above - get this and the koss portapro for 17:99 from play and you have an amazing personal hi-fi. :) thats my setup and it kills the (much more expensive) competition IMHO- audio quality is much more important to me than brand. (also excellent for audiobooks, remembers where you left each one when you return - oh and plays lossless etc) and full SD integration (unlike my crappy zen!)
#16
I had one from Asda in Caerphilly a little while ago, I think it was about £27. Brilliant little player, the video is alright on it as well. :D
#17
Is the sansa Fuse better than the SONY NWZ-S638F 8GB???
#18
Voted hot!

I have the 8GB model cracking player simple drag n drop at this price a real HOT deal :)
#19
Going to a asda tommorow so will look out for one of these. Ideal for collage rather taking the gd all iPod touch
#20
Yep cracking price if you can get one i already have 8gb one but not all the album art copies accross when using media player 11.

According to posts on the Sansa forum, support for embedded album art was added in one of the recent firmware updates. If you use a program like MP3Tag (which is free), you can easily embed album art into the audio files themselves. I don't own a Fuze, but if it shows up as an external drive when you plug it into a PC (which I'm assuming it does) then you should be able to edit the tags of the audio files while they're still on the device.

Just finished work at ASDA, we've got none at all... Must be pretty old stock.

It's a great deal if you can find one, but hens' teeth come to mind. Still good value, though, even at the £50 or so they normally sell at. Far better bet than an iPod. :)

Ive got a Sansa Clip 4GB use it for running and the gym and find it to be a great little player. Had no problems at all and sound quality is really good (although the original headphones are not the best at least on the Sansa clip, ok headphones done get me wrong but if you want top quality sound its best to replace them) . Heat Added.
#25
None in Sutton :(
#26
Just worth mentioning currys still have the clip+ 4gb for 29.99 - tiny player, same audio chip I think, so same great quality sound, and the clip+ has a microsd slot, so easy to upgrade (as its fully integrated) :)

I believe 2 are left. Will try and pick them up tomorrow and sell them on the site at cost + posting.
