Another Good offer... no stock form Argos!
#3
Yawn ... Just another Argos MP3 player deal.

There'll be 1 or 2 stores in the country with stock, probably in London, and they'll only have a couple left.

I guarantee you no-one on this site will get one.

LOL Selby & Goole has 1 still ...

Well I reserved one in Wrexham Plas Coch store - my plans have changed and I won't be able to get there to pick it up now, so PM me if you want the reservation number

I just got one in Belfast, collecting tomorrow. My first ever purchase of a "MP3" player, I hope I can learn how to use it
#9

1 unit in port talbot, another in ammanford. none in swansea or llanelli though. nearly bought one of these when they were reduced in currys but they claimed they didnt have the box which meant they couldnt sell it at all? odd. anyway very nice feel to it, solid build and im sure they have extra memory using microSD cards?? one in currys did anyway.
fortunately for me a month ago someone put an 80gb ipod classic on freeads for £40 with usb and car charger/fm transmitter. someone was looking out for me haha :)

Thanks for your not-quite-true contribution :whistling:

Good battery life, but the Sandisk software isn't too good at all. It does accept video files but must be encoded using the Sandisk software, which has audio synching issues.

Otherwise, if considering it as only an MP3 player, it's fine. Hope this helps someone

got one... (wolverhampton)

just reserved one in huddersfield - does anyone know how easy it is to download video onto this?

Not, have to convert:thumbsup:

being a novice - is it easy to convert?
#26
using the software supplied it is a mostly painless experience but this mp4 player is best just playing music (screen isn't ideal for watching a lot of video)
#27
None in Edinburgh
#28
Been waiting for these to be on offer again. Just reserved the last 2 in Bristol (different stores!). Voted hot, cracking mp3 player.

none in my area :(

These are fantastic MP3 players.
The sound quality is amongst the best ( far better than ipods).
You can expand the memory quickly and cheaply by using a microSD card. Any files on the microSD are seamlessly integrated into your music lists too ( some of the few other MP3 players with expandable memory annoyingly list them separate).
You don't have to use any software to load music on - you can have it simply as an extra drive to drag and drop your music onto.

The only thing i would not recommend it for is for videos ( though it does play them fine). But i would not recommend any mp3 player with a small screen for videos - whats the point on small screens. Its a gimmick that you would not use regularly.

none in rotherham, sheffield, doncaster, barnsley or worksop :(
#34
THE best music player ive owned including the crappy white one
#35
cheers.

Silicon case for these available at mymemory.co.uk
Made by Hama, these are good quality and a great fit.
The link is to a Black Silicon case, £6.99 delivered

Useful if you think your player may get knocked, or as an additional stocking filler

I bought the Sansa Clip yesterday in a similar deal, all the reviews are decent.
