I thought I read Matsui for a minute there... and then this sprung to mind.

I had that exact HiFi! It was awesome at copying spectrum games tape to tape!
'Matsui'.... The name invented by Dixons to dupe people into thinking they were buying Japanese. When in fact they were buying cheap Taiwanese garbage.

Sansui used to be quality stuff..... not sure what they're like now.
lol, I had a sansui full size hifi in a cabinet, must have been around 1982, came from a catalogue and it was quite expensive (approx. £250).
I've owned Sansui equipment in the good old days do Hi-Fi separates & never had any issues with their quality. Thumbs up from me.
Of not do* bloody autocorrect !
Looks like a lot of bang for the buck, I've ordered one. thanks OP.
Same spec on Amazon but a little dearer at £142 but may be useful to some

I'm tempted by one of these but what concerns me is the fact it contains the Frontier Silicon Wifi module which is what is in my Kitsound Surfer 1.2.

I've had 2 Kitsound units and they both suffer the same bugs, those being:

Equaliser levels reset each time the radio is powered out of standby (very annoying!)
BBC "Listen again" streams constantly buffer under run and stop playing (other Internet streams fine)
Radio streams the BBC's low quailty AAC streams meant for overseas which seem to have a history of failing hence, possibily, the above problem.

Anyone who's bought one of these units used any of these features, if so what have been your findings?
