So maybe I've lost the plot posting this, but I thought this little Father Christmas made from butter was unbelievably cute, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it. I wasn't going straight home after I shopped today so couldn't buy one as I didn't want the little man melting in my car. He is about 3" tall and has really detailed little features. Definitely going back to get one next week for my Boxing Day party. And yes I'm sure someone will point out that ounce for ounce he isn't that cheap, but I don't think my butter carving skills are up to this standard just yet :D Also looks like just in store at the moment.

Wonder if you will still use a knob of butter in your baking!
When I said he was detailed, I think you misunderstood ;)

Because you will now feel the need to do creative things with your butter tonight and then display them in your fridge for all to admire :)

I am so going to make an ill thought out and misguided attempt to recreate this exact Santa.

I am then going to boil the misshapen mess of animal fat by microwave in a fit of churlish rage.

not that its not a good deal for what it is

but butter carving would not be how this are made, there the same as the chocolate plastic moulds, room temp choc or butter, in to plastic mound pushed down to shape, put in freezer for a few hours to hard, than easy to get out of the moulds, if you want it to be double sided repeat, than use some melted choc / butter to seal the two halfs together again freeze to dry, really no skills involved, and a fun project for bored kids

video if any one wants to try it

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWQ1xU-IRho

ofc still a good deal just due to lazyness / ease of access to it, so voted hot

Mine had filled an end of aisle in the fridge section with pate , Christmas cheese and these , can't remember if anything else was there, but it was not there Monday when I went in ,so I'm guessing new stock that's just come in.

I don't know how you can find out your email address but I believe you can change it by going to the top right hand corner, click on your little profile picture, click on that, go to profile settings and you can change your email address to one you can remember.
Somebody else might know more. ^_^
