Apart from being poor value anyway, the price of TV is so low now.... this TV has been posted today, better brand, and NEW for £260 delivered: http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/696334/samsung-le32c450-series-32-hd-ready

If second-hand means so much to you, and you REALLY can't survive without a tatty blu ray player to go with it, then make sure you know what you are buying, it's described both ways, and it can't be both!.......

nihcaj maybe if you despize refurb stuff sooo much you should stay away from the threads - although it does rack up your posting numbers doesn't it!

The website seems to be quite explicit about the condition of the units- although there's always grey area isn't there.

Sanyo ain't for me though... but each to their own

A better idea would be to get them off the site altogether, then the vast amount of (Some misleading) posts relating to second hand stuff wouldn't get in the way and make navigating to real bargains a lot quicker & easier.

If you have the idea I despise refurbs, then you would be dead wrong. I despise the misleading descriptions (such as this one, where the retailer doesn't even display what warranty it is actually offering!) & because they are almost always POOR value too. They might be worth buying at large reductions, but I have only ever seen about TWO posts where second hand stuff has been remotely good value - this is WAY too expensive to qualify for that! Figures of something like 35 or 30% might be getting there.

Instead of cutting the second hand goods posted, MORE has been allowed, such as the mountains of tat on eBay that we get now :-(

Why would I want to "rack up" numbers of postings I make? What possible benefit (or the opposite) does that bring?
