I been eyeing this deal for a while now and I thought this might be a decent card to buy for those who are upgrading their system as I am, maybe others can give there thoughts on it , but this is the cheapest price I've found so far, some retailers are sellling this upto £180+ and thats without delivery. If it is cheaper anywhere else then please let me and others know here. Thanks. Oh,and don't forget quidco too.

FYI, I'm gonna be using this graphics card together with the AMD Phenom II Quad-Core 955 Black Edition, the MSI 790FX-GD70 motherboard and 2x2GB OCZ OCZ3P1600EB4GK DDR3 ram sticks. I'm still deciding on power supply and cooling system. Heres the link for the DDR3 rams tho:

These are the cheapest I've found them, this could be a deal on its own....maybe. Probs cheaper elsewhere, maybe somebody might know.

Why are people voting cold?

I am voting hot as Play offer free delivery to N.Ireland where as scan, ebuyer, aria & co charge around £15. This makes this card the cheapest anywhere for me.

If you are looking some technical feedback you should ask in a computer specific forum.

I can recommend Hexus, as I have been with them since 2005 (http://forums.hexus.net)

For that card you will need a good 500W PSU, I can highly recommend Corsair, however they are generally expensive.

For memory, you would be better with these :

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/4GB-(2x2GB)-CorsairTwinX-XMS3-DDR3-PC3-12800-(1600)240-Pin-Non-ECC-Unbuffered-CAS-9-9-9-24-DHX

Better latency timings, plus join AVForums for free UK delivery from Scan.

As for the deal, for that *specific* card, it's not a bad deal, however i'd be inclined to pay £5 more for this one :

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/1Gb-Sapphire-HD4890-1GB-VAPOR-X

Which is clocked higher.

That memory you suggest to buy is slower its CL9, the memory he wants to buy is CL7 with much faster timings so why would he buy the one you suggest? Also the graphics card you suggest isn't released yet and says to be announced. These HD4890 cards all run at decent speeds and can be overlclocked massively just with ati catalyst software, it makes sense to buy the best value card as you can guarantee good speeds

How come I'm not seeing this on the main page of HUKD. Does it needs to be voted hot first or something?
