This is a cut-down HD 2900 XT so comparable with a HD 3850 O/C which are about to get very cheap and also consume less power and are quieter. Therefore I have to vote it cold.

This needs to be voted hot as you have clearly underestimted the potential of this card check out this link http://www.insidehw.com/Reviews/Graphics-cards/HIS-2900Pro-vs.-XFX-8800GTS-320.html and you'll see with a little tweaking this can give similar performance to the 2900XT! a card that gives the geforce 8800 a run for its money at under £100 is a bargain!

You can now buy a HD 3870 512MB for under £115 and at stock speed that’s about 10% faster than the HD 2900 XT and consumes much less power and is quieter.

A month ago this would have been an interesting deal but ATI prices have tumbled since then.

I bought one of these from ocuk (£68 del) just after christmas, it's a great card compared to my old 7900GTO, not noticed problems with temps but I do have a well vented case. You also get two free games included which you download and access online through steam http://www.steamgames.com/v/index.php can't remember their names off hand. If you want this card then this is cheapest price around:thumbsup:

Other things I can mention that maybe helpful is that when in full flight it is pretty noisy and you will need an 8 pin PCI express power connector to be able to access ATI's overclocking tool (or any other oc tool as far as i am aware), which I haven't got. Also this card is pretty big so make sure it will fit.:)
