I'm sure you're all aware how good the new ATI HD4850 gfx cards are, and how poor the stock coolers are. However, there is an alternative arnge with a larger "orb" heatsink that run cooler, quieter & allow for better overclocking......but tend to cost a few pennies more!

Anyway, I notice that Pixmania have the Sapphire HD4850 (with larger heatsink) for only £105 + £7 delivery. - a real bargain in my opinion.

plus 4% quidco

.....if you're thinking of Crossfire, then there's also a £5 off £200 voucher floating around too! 4850 crossfire for just over £200!

hot.... you can pick up a stock 4850 for about £110............ but if you want to keep it for a while or overclock then go for this as it will run far cooler and result in a better lifespan(less chance of component failure)/ or more overclockability

Sorry, 1st time I've posted a bargain on here, so just finding me feet!
This could requires three slots as the dual-slot cooler is tall enough that it may touch the card in the next slot , which will block a lot of the air supply for the fan.

The main reason to get this particular card is that it's about 8" long instead of the 9-9.5" of the standard 4850 design.
appears to be fixed :)
