Yes it should be fine on it.

Can someone help me please? I dont know much about assembling computers. Will this card fit into, and then work with my pc?

http://www.desktoppcs.org.uk/zoostorm/zoostorm-7871-0010-desktop-computer/

PC is quite low spec with onboard graphics - I get 'jumps' when using iplayer. Will graphics card solve this or is it likely to be due to soemthing else (too little ram, poor processor etc)

I'd really appreciate any suggestions or help

taken from the article you linked to -

"Excellent graphics are possible because of the SiS M672 Integrated Graphics Card on the system."

if this was a print ad, i'd be reporting them to trading standards. quite possibly the worst graphics chip money can still buy.

you could do with some extra RAM too, but its not as essential as not using that SiS crap!

It should work fine as long as it physically fits in the case. I would think that it'll fit OK.
It'll be a big improvement over the onboard graphics but can't guarantee it'll stop the stuttering in iplayer cos that could be due to download speeds or another component.

to add to my last, its also wrong, as below they report an intel GMA 950 as the graphics. never buy anything from people who dont know what they are selling!

will this be much better than my 512mb 4850?

Ok aside from "punishment" you've received for buying poorly described machine, I would like to offer the following advise:

1] What resolution are you using the iPlayer at - the larger it goes the more the onboard graphics will struggle. Try narrowing the iPlayer window down and see if it improves.
2] Also try updating the hardware driver software - visit
http://www.foxconnchannel.com/product/Motherboards/detail_overview.aspx?id=en-us0000345
to update your drivers.
3] Ensure you have hardware acceleration enabled (>Start >Settings >Control Panel >Display >Settings >Advanced >Troubleshoot and HA should be to "Full".)
4] This card is for Low Profile cases - yours looks like an ATX and unless the card comes with a ATX bracket not sure if this will fit.

All the best.

Thanks for your help and thanks to mumbojumbo too. I have 10mb broadband and haven't had an issue with iplayer on my higher spec laptop so believe its the pc.

I'll perform the recommendations you've suggested thank you

Will this card fit in my tower? I have a pci express slot but cant tell if this one will fit it. Also how can I check the profile my tower takes? i.e low/atx/high profile - I dont know how I know!

Thanks again

Looking at the dimensions listed on the link you provided - Dimensions 450mm x 180 mm x 360mm, I think it looks like that your case is a midi - ATX and this won't fit your pc unless it comes with a atx bracket.

sd iplayer works fine on my althlon 64 3500+ 1gb ram system which is much weaker than yours - so i would guess its either your graphics card (mine was high end 6 years back) or your connection. As said above i thought modernish integrated graphics were ok too.

never knew there would be a problem fitting a low profile card into a big case - assumed same size slot so would fit but with extra room - whats the problem here? (as you can maybe tell by state of my pc ive not upgraded before)

Well the mobo is listed as Foxconn Skt775 G31MX-K which is a G31 chipset board (GMA3100).

I bought this card (ASUS version), a couple of months ago but for 20 quid more :(

I bought it for SF4, to have dual screen and play Blu-ray and HD movies and it
does the job perfectly. I was surprised by the sound of the fan at first,
but that might just be because my very old card did not have one.

I think this is a great deal (Heat added).
