not voting, but the GT460 that was posted on HDUK for £116 is much much better (GT460 is even faster than the 5830 in most aspects)

Hello i bought the pc from dell a while back that got over 2000 degrees and some said that the 5770 was the best for that pc, just wondering if the gt 460 will also work as well, the default graphics card is pretty poor on my pc.

I had this exact card and swapped it for a 460...

Performance wise the 460 is better but this is still a good card and good price for those who will not pay the extra for the 460 (768mb)

Aye. Always been a big fan of ATI (always love the underdog). The rest of nvidias line up is pretty poor in terms of value, but the 460 for £116 is immense value - never saw that link before!

The 4770 is a decent card though, and this deal is ok in terms of other same model cards. But thats like a bog standard ford fiesta having a RRP of £25000, and a dealer selling new for £20000. Deal? Not sure.

Fantastic card for the money, regardless of what might be better for another £20-30.

I disagree. The cheapest 460's are only around £15 more, so this doesn't seem a great deal to me at all.

this is a good price for a 5770 which is very good card if you want crossfire or only have a crossfire motherboard. but it has to be said, the gtx 460 for ~£120 is a mcuh better buy. anyway, u would be silly to buy a decent graphics card now with the radeon HD 6000 series launch just around the corner. they will be sure to mix pricing up and hopefully the gtx 460 768mb should go sub £100 aswell as this 5770 :D! (maybe im being optimistic tho :P)

Ive got 2 of these bad boys... crossfired.. and runs really good no problems... BFBC2 1900x1200 everything full on...39 FPS.... NVIDIA will cost you more due to power consumption... draws about double than both these guys...

I normally a fan of ATI stuff, but not when there is just sillyness being told to make them look better.

The GT460 768MB draw may be 10% more power if that but more than 10% more powerful.

hot from me, although it doesnt hit the specs of the 460 this will actually fit in my computer, which the 460/260 and varius other high spec cards wont. i belive this is about 8.5-9 inchs and the 460/260 are about 10.5 which completely blocks the sata ports and 2 hardrive slots.

is anyone able to confirm the length of this?

Can you use this card to work with 3 displays e.g. 2 x di and 1 x hmdi at the same time to create an extended desktop?
