.. "Play Value X1650 Pro / 512MB / AGP 8x / Graphics Card" at £34.99 inc. P+P :

http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/5973032/Play-Value-X1650-Pro-512MB-AGP-8x-Graphics-Card/Product.html

.. seems the memory clock and GPU clock are set at the same speed as the "Sapphire Radeon". :)

many people would also say its cold because of the fact that its agp and not pci
#3
why cold. agp upgrading is a great way to upgrade your computer if like alot of people you cant afford new ones. also i think the diff between the two cards is the ram i think. is one not slower ram or something like that
[Moderator]#4
voting cold cos its AGP.

AGP is fine as far as it goes, but this isn't a very good card for the money. There are better AGP cards for gaming (which is the main reason you'd be wanting this or some other upgrade card).

Such as - for a similar price ?

I am looking at the sapphire 3850, but not for 80 odd notes...

Just because you don't have agp doesn't mean other people don't.
I vote hot.
#8
.. voting cold because its AGP is totally lame .. beggars belief too.

Disagree... Like voting cold for a product because it is for righthanded and you're not... Anyway, better buy a cheap AGP card on Ebay if you really need it. Otherwise trying to play decent games with this card will be a pain in the ars3

I'm not voting as I don't believe in voting cold just because I don't like a product.

For info though you could get a Radeon 3650 AGP which is much quicker for only £13 more and it's DX10.

to all you that are voting cold because it is AGP.
that's just plain stupid. do you even know the difference between AGP and PCI-e?
i have a AGP board so even if i wanted a pci-e card which i do because they're cheaper and more powerfull ill have to upgrade my whole system. so its not worth it and ill have to stick with AGP
[Moderator]#12
£40 for an AGP card is overpriced, lots of shops are dumping their stock becuase AGP support is disapearing fast. As soon as you upgrade your motherboard you will have bin this graphics card, becuase very few new motherboards support it.
If your a game player, then your better off putting your money towards upgrading your system to PCI-E.
