Good price! Would this out-perform an HD2600 Pro 256mb?...

no way the 2600pro is perfect for hd and media and is a new DX10 card where as this is DX9 and with a little tweaking you could get the 2600pro to near the speed of the XT version this should also play some new games at lo res at a playable frame rate i had the 2400pro in the kids pc any it played blueray before the daft questions come no it wont play crysis and will be rubbish in crossfire that's for both cards mentioned.

any one know where i can get an AGP graphics card from not too expensive, not running any games, dont need dvi tbh but wouldnt mind
#14
Anybody know if the AGP version does HDMI........ more importantly Audio over HDMI.

thanks

I had an AGP one of these for a year up till about 3 months ago - cost me £50 from Ebuyer, and it was superb on every game I played. I paid another £10 to get the Arctic Cooling passive cooling, and it meant my system was whisper quiet.
If you can get one for £10, I'd recommend you do the same and get the passive cooling - the stock fan on mine was pretty loud.

No AGP cards that I've seen do HDMI, and if it does HDMI then it HAS to do audio too.

Very good budget card, can run cod4 at 60FPS on 1280x720 with no AA or AF! E6400 BTW
#17
No wont be hdmi at all, look at the HD ati range for that.

No It Doesn't Have Hdmi, But It Can Run Crysis Quite Well On Low... Cod4 No Problems Whatsoever...

OP or anyone else who has purchased this can you please tell us the product code for this item?

If you phone the stores they ask for this to check in their system.

Also, what is the model number of the card (it should be on the box, something like: 11090-29-20R)

thanks

i went to my local Staples, found one of each graphics card (agp and pcie) - but they both scanned as £53, so this must by a specific store offer - shame!
