Cracking GPS unit for walkers/trekkers/campers.
Recently got a very good review in TRAIL magazine.

Amazon doing it for £5 more, but haven't found it cheaper.......

It's a lot of money, but is GPS with zoomable OS map data. The free county map doesn't cover all the counties for some reason.

Technical blurb stuff here - there's access to the datasheet on the Outdoor site.

This might be the right one for the guy who asked for a walking one on the TomTom Start thread. Heavy price difference tho.

Is MyMemory a alternative to this?
You probably mean memorymap.
You probably mean memorymap.

Yes, I do. Don't know how I came up with the wrong name, lol.
The January edition of TRAIL magazine marked it slightly below the Satmap, but not by much.......

TRAIL has it's RRP as £250, so probably around £200 on the street.

The memorymap looks like it comes with all the OS maps at 1:50000, whereas you'd have to buy the OS maps you wanted for the Satmap - so it will end up being quite a bit more expensive. Horses for courses though! :)
