Rather than listing all individually and taking up loads of threads will list some in 1st post. Code will work on all over £50 and can be collected in store with Clubcard Points as well.

The one in the direct link seems a good buy with decent reviews but others might be more appropriate or better value.

PS - Code will work with anything on site over £50 - If something priced at between £45-£49.99 just add a cheap item at £1.00 eg, sim card to take over £50 and apply code.

Possible Quidco also available.

On Amazon they are going brand new inc delivery for £45 so not so hot

Whats the point of these non-portable hard drives, might as well install one in the machine unless your going to use a Laptop/netbook etc
#7
Hi All - I think that you will find you can also get 500 extra Club Card points if you use this code = TDX-KNA7 = and spend £50 or more.

Should work across Tesco Direct, if you choose not to buy one of these, as long as you spend £50 or more

Well, for example, my router has the ability to hang an external hard drive, effectively making it a NAS and so hanging something like one of these drives from it would give me access to my media without having to have my 'puter on 24x7.

Saw that myself but thought this worked out slightly better - Possible Quidco at about £2 and £1.18 in Clubcard Points (with potential of trebling them to £3.54 in Rewards - might be wrong on this as not 100% sure on how the Reward thing works). Also, the ability to collect from your local store at a time that suits you rather than waiting in for delivery.

Cheers to the OP, I had some long lost Clubcard vouchers to use up (thanks to the person that posted about that on here!) so I managed to get the HD for £39 collect at store :) Hopefully the Quidco will track and I'll also get the Clubcard points so done quite well :)

EDIT: £2.38 Quidco (tracked on £47.63) and 110 Clubcard points :D

Indeed, I'm awfully tempted by that, although I'm also tempted by the D-Link ShareCentre from Dabs for the same price. Difference being that the D-Link doesn't come with HDDs, but it is a lot more versatile.

this doesnt work as you cant use the 2 vouchers together.

The point is that if you're only ever going to plug this into a mains powered device, e.g. a media player, console, TV, home PC, then you can get a 1TB for the same price as you'd get a 500GB USB powered portable hard drive.

Twice as much storage space for the same money is generally considered better, especially if you don't need the device to be portable and plenty of people don't.

Price has now gone up for the one in the Direct Link but others highlighted via other links still available.
