My offer is £10 off a £60 spend yet my mum who shops in M&S a lot has to spend £80 to get it off. It's silly how they work out the offers. She often uses the cafe where as I don't but I get offered free hot drinks sometimes. The old saying "loyalty doesn't pay" springs to mind.

I agree - I did query this and was told it is random but in some cases is designed to encourage those with a low spend (or who don't use the cafe) to go there! Just a marketing ploy really!
