Bought 2 of these when we moved house few months back
paid £250 back then:roll:

Brilliant telly for the money, really pleased with them both.

Also dont forget these have a 3year warranty with them,
so dont let Argos con you into buying the extended warranty

Awesome! Got one in my room, love it! Plays the 360 just fine!! Looks great at 1080 HD

Only downside is freeview via scart seems a little washed out.

PC World have the SM940MG for £189.99 on the web (£199.99 instore) - search for product code 968891.
Does anyone know how this differs from the SM940MW at Argos ?

Was lucky enough to get a Panasonic dvd recorder with built in freeview on a insurance claim, using this connected with Composite, and the picture is a lot better than through the scart.

Trouble is i there are not many stand alone freeview box's around that have Composite.........

So quite a expensive way if you want a better picture, although the panasonic was on offer recently for about £140,down from £265

720p gives a more stable image though, I have this monitor and when I set my 360 to 1080i the screen was flickering slightly, like there was interference, I guess it doesn't do the interlacing too well or something.

Got one of these myself just over a a year back from PC World for £300. Is a great tv, and hooks up to a monitor via vga for pc use and has component for use with a Xbox 360 (which looks great!).

Got myself a 32" HD tv now so this is the bedroom set. If I needed another tv I'd definitely buy one for £200.

Ha, using this HD TV Monitor right now! Lol, got it hooked up to my Cable, Freeview, Divx DVD Player, XBOX 360 and PC. Great price, I paid £250 for it. Never looked back.
