Please be careful with 3 for £10 offer - I went in this morning, got 12 bottles of wine (on offer 3 for £10 or 6 for £19) and the only discount applied was 25% off. So I went to customer services, told them that there's a mistake on the system and they sorted it out for me. As a result, 12 bottles of wine for £28.50 - not bad at all!

if the wine still on 3 for £10

Went in for a bottle yesterday afternoon and came out with 6 for under £20. Very nice indeed! Cheers!

It also works on the boxes of wine (something a Sainsbury's Employee denied when I asked last time the offer was on). I've just bought 6 boxes of Banrock Station for £77.35 so with the £7 off for a £70 spend that I got through the post it worked out as less than £12 a box! Works out as 4 bottles of wine for the price of less than 2 :D

Now need to not spend any money for a very long time!

Went in today and the 3 4 10 deals gone,so just the 25% off,not bad,but resisted.

Went today to Sainsburys to stock up. Went for the £3.50 (ish) Sainburys own-brand Claret, Chilean Merlot & some Italian red. An ok (ish) deal, not paticularly compelling but I can live with it. Hoping Aldi will bring back their 3 bottle box of French red for £5.99 deal some time soon. Nice wine and wonderfully cheap!

sorry 3 for 10 has ended mate

last time this was on i went up to try it along side the 3 for £10 , manager told me they normally stop one offer before starting the other

Just back from gettin 20 various bottles, can confirm the 2 for £7 offers (Echo Falls @£3.99) no longer applies.
But hey! an extra 20% off is not bad :)

Ok

In the past the 3 for £10 has still been on whilst the 25% was

Unfortunatly not this time :-(

Last night I got 6 bottles of Mcguigans (really nice wine and on offer at half price) for a grand total of £21.70, works out at approx £3.60 per bottle for a wine with a RRP of £9.99 or £7.99 (rose) - probably not worth the RRP but an absolute steal at £3.60 per bottle.

Stock up while you can

True

but this is only selected wines AND new customers, 25% off is the whole of the ranges sold at sainsburys

I switched my weekly groceries delivery from Tesco to Sainsburys specifically to get this deal. I ordered 6 bottles of Marca Oro prosecco (usually £6.99 but down to £5) but they did not deliver these. I got £10 bottles of prosecco instead (plus the £14.99) discount but sent them back as they were not what I wanted.

They also did not deliver other essential items such as hayfever tablets which means I need to make an extra trip to the shops.

I won't be using Sainsburys again. If they have deals like this they should ensure they have the stock. The useability on the website was inferior to Tesco. The information they give you at the door is far less transparent as well. I had to look at the reverse of the receipt which had been stapled to that other bit of paper to find out how much the substituted bottles of wine were. Tesco is far better in this regard and they do price matching if your item is not in stock.

There is not much I can back sainsburys up on this other than, if the item is on offer then trying to price match it with another item will not always be possible.

But by leaving out the hayfever tablets you should have made a complaint. If you are not happy with what they have delievered they either give you £10 of your shopping or a £10 voucher, cant remember which.
