Well I have used it and got the discount - I think you will find that most of the codes posted on internet forums are the same
#15
so what discount did you get? How much was the actual cost as 35% off on line plus up to £50 quidco?
What are the best deals out there?
#16
With quidco it works out better to buy it online as you already get a 35% discount.

For example online it £46 take away the 35% = £29

With this deal you get it for £46 take away the 50% = £23

but online you do get the £19 quidco (for orders under £75) making online option £10 in total after cashback.

But you are relying on quidco paying out

I think you will find there are plenty of codes available on the internet for use by everyone, without having to resort to using codes you are ineligible to. ;-)

cold as only £10 after quidco doing it online. Quidco for AA is VERY reliable
#19
For the most expensive option - Everyting for the whole family online with quidco it comes to £150.

With this 50% off it comes to £150 too so would be better to go with this option as then you wont be waiting for quidco.

So it depends what level of cover you want

Yes I agree with you but this is only the most basic option - as you get more expensive it does work out better to take this

So if your buying the basic option like I said above - do it online with quidco - If your going for anything else just double check using above code first

When you say includes everything for the whole family do you mean you're also covered for stay mobile and breakdown repair cover up to 4 people, which ever car you're driving?

My renewal (cards for 2 adults) came to £135 for aa breakdown personal membership. It includes roadside, homestart (complimentary for being a loyal customer) and relay. It excludes stay mobile and breakdown repair cover (the latter being extra £119).

online comes to £133.12 (includes 25% off)
quidco £50.00 (cashback for spending over £100)
total to pay: £83.12
Saving me £52.00 over AA's renewal quote in post So much for AA loyality!

Haven't bothered checking by phone using code 1106 - as others recently tried and said not open to public.

Phoned AA up told them I could get it cheaper online and through quidco, so their quote for being loyal customer wasn't that good.
Guess what? They matched the price and reduced it to £83.

It always pays to phone up if you're an existing member/customer and see if they can reduce your renewal.

The AA first said the quidco cover was inferior to the renewal I'd been offered according to T & C. I challenged them, they spoke to their manager and eventually agreed it was an identical offer. I found it amusing when they said "if you don't call us about your renewal then how do we know you're unhappy with the quote. It's always best to call us to see what we can do".

So existing members due for a renewal give the aa a call - and remember to check quidco and other offers first and see if they'll price match.
