Saw this and thought it may save someones Christmas.

The Save-A-Phone SAP-1001 Drying Kit is a fast and reliable method of drying out personal electronics such as your smartphone or MP3 player.

Whether you've dropped your MP3 player into the bath, or sent your smartphone for a cycle in the washing machine, you'll be able to dry it and enjoy full use of your device using this unique kit.

Simply remove any batteries or SIM cards, place your damaged item into the bag, and wait for the indicator to turn from pink to blue - when it's blue, your device will be fully dry.

I've put my iPhone in a tub of rice for 24 hours on a radiator after it fell into a bucket of water and it worked perfectly afterwards. Much cheaper!

rice is miles cheaper than this, and this isn't even reduced?!

I've also used rice to draw out moisture from electronics (place in a bag of dry rice and store in an airing cupboard for a day). Cheap and effective.

Place in a cup of rice and Asians will appear while you sleep and fix the device.
