Crap company who rip people off and try to get money out of people who have not been with them for years and years and send them letters and phone calls all the time then say it was a mistake :x

I would rather deal with the devil than Orange. I ordered from them, waited for delivery on the said day, but didn't arrive, phoned them and they said out of stock so told them to cancel order. A week later they sent me the phone which I then returned and have to pay for the delivery!. It then took 10 weeks to eventually get a refund and that was after numerous frustrating phone calls. Would never ever deal with them again. So due to customer service or lack of afraid I have to vote cold.

Strange about the "From the New Year...." as most of these phones are already available at the sale prices on the orange site (except the Toshiba):

Toshiba TG01 now half price at £199 - just listed as coming soon
Nokia 1661 now half price at £10 - it's currently on sale at £9?! (available at Argos/CPW for £9.99)
Nokia 5030 now half price at £12.50 - this will be a good price, though it's currently listed at £19, but still decent as it's £39 elsewhere.
Nokia 2730 now half price at £49 it's already this price on the website (also at play.com for £49)
BlackBerry 8520 now £149, saving £30 - (£190 @ CPW) - good price, listed in the PAYG section and is at least £25 cheaper than everywhere else.
LG GW300 now £49, saving £30 - bargain, it's £80 elsewhere, not listed amongst the sale phones but is already this price in the PAYG section of the orange site.
LG GW520 now £89, saving £40 - (£140 @ CPW) - bargain same as above, £125+ elsewhere!
Sony Ericsson C510 now £79, saving £30 - not listed anywhere on the site and is available elsewhere for this price anyway
Samsung E1360B now £14, saving £5 - available in the sale section right now and is slightly cheaper than elsewhere.

So this looks like a pretty good sale even if the orange haters out there are voting it cold just because they don't like orange....

Voted hot.

Orange had a great sale last year, they offered a very cheap deal on a specific phone, then they had more orders than expected and couldn't fulfill, so they gave me a much more expensive replacement. I think they're great

Hope I get one of those toshibas

Actually just checked the Toshiba gets bad reviews

The toshiba tg01 is on sale in store for £399.00 currently but I did suspect that was an overprice so they could dramatically reduce it for the january sale. All stores were sent a memory card with windows mobile 6.5 software on it, so if you ask they should update the software from 6.1 to 6.5 within a couple of minutes (unless they've lost the tiny microSD card). 6.1 was crap imo but the 6.5 seems to run smoother and it looks better as well, if it does go for £199 that's an amazing bargain considering it has a 1GHz snapdragon in it.
