Not a bad review, but not great here http://www.trustedreviews.com/home-cinema/review/2009/12/10/Toshiba-BDX2000-Blu-ray-Player/p1

Personally i would go with the Sony BDP-S360 from Richersounds for the same cash as that got a great review from What HiFi.

But then it is down to personal preference and people like to match Toshiba Players with Toshiba TV's!

Yeh that's so right, I have everything Toshiba, TV, DVD player, Surround Systems, a Sony between them will look alienated.

I would get the sony BD360 avatar deal for £119 from play and flog the avatar steelbook for £20

Not always, I've got a Tosh HDDVD going via an Onkyo amp to a Samsung TV :whistling:

got one reserved to buy today or tomorrow, we opened one and they look good, probably wouldn't bother buying it if it didn't come with the 12 months rental as i have a ps3 which i have been using for blu-rays but i was going to sign up to lovefilm anyway

Anybody know if this deal is still on? Argos are still selling it and the Love Film page seems to be set up for the code to be entered etc. The only thing that suggests it isnt is the Toshiba page which only shows a TV/DVD combo product which has the offer.
I didnt go for the deal when it was originally posted as was about to go on holiday so wouldnt have been able to sort out the postal registration in time.

Jimmy:

You had to send the documentation off for this deal and the time limit was July. I was thinking this would be a great christmas present for a lot of people but the deals long gone.

I need a new dvd/blu ray player, I have been told by my family that they would like get me one for Christmas but I'm holding out for a lovefilm offer like this. Such a shame this is expired or else I'd be asking for it!
