Agreed for the same money a eee701 would be a better choice.

I'm struggling to find one at the same money, and if you can point me in the right direction then I will buy one, but I'll agree that for another £40 you get a much higher spec from the eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 701

Not the same price, but closer than my search got me, I must admit. Have some rep. I know it's early in the week, but I'm feeling generous.

To buy,or not to buy, that is the question................

It was £137 yesterday or the day before (or was it £134? The deal was posted on here so you could check).

The one you posted doesn't have an X86 processor if it's the same as the maplin one so with that and it's generally poor specs you'd have a hard job finding software for it.

I would reccomend this one,

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/145401

It is only £149.99 and has the longer battery life with the 4 cell vs 3 cell battery.

You could also go for this if you want cheap as possible for £139.76

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/138169

But it only has 2Gig of space, the extra £10 seems worth it

Voting hot in that it's still the cheapest netbook I've seen and although the eee would be better if you can stretch to it, not everyone needs that level of power. If you only need this spec, then this might be better value for you.
