Excludes the gold collection, but still means you can get a good quality, double cuff essential shirt for work for a good price.

Why is a double cuff "essential for work".

I don't think he means that. I read it to mean just an essential (as in standard) for work white shirt that happens to have double cuffs.

This comany always gets cold reviews on here. not had a shirt from them so not voting but their suits are bloody aweful

Poor quality shirts - far better value in M&S. Pay a little more and get a quality shirt from Charles Tyrwhitt or elsewhere. Savile Row in name only.

I know the shirts have had some bad reviews, but the ones I got were fine. Same sort of quality as TM Lewin.

Yes - it does seem that some people consider the shirts are good, others poor. This suggests to me that the shirts are not of a consistent quality - pay your money and take pot luck, I think. The shirts I personally purchased were a poor fit and the material, supposedly pure cotton, felt nearer to polyester - perhaps it was a dressing on the cotton. Still, I regretted spending hard earned money on shirts that I assumed (because of the name - I was fooled, too) were going to be of similar quality to those you can buy in Jermyn Street. M&S make far better shirts and often at a far better price. Savile Row are at the Tesco / Primark end of the spectrum for quality with shirts, I think (if that is not too insulting to Tesco / Primark).
