I've played it. We had a copy sent to our offices. It's surprisingly very good for a movie-licence game.

It IS a very good game. I played it through to the end in one 16-hour session. I generally don't have the patience or endurance to do that these days, but Saw's really thrilling and hard to put down.

If you've played the demo, that's the first chapter. There are seven chapters in all, with each chapter you save a hostage in one of Jigsaw's games. The demo is pretty representative of the entire experience, so do try the demo (if it's out) if you want to see what the game's like.

The game uses the UE3 engine, and uses the popular over-the-shoulder third-person view (as pioneered by RE4). What I didn't realise going in to it is that it's an action-puzzle game. It's very, very thrilling because the puzzles you get are often time-based puzzles that Jigsaw throws your way, and you know you'll die a graphically horrific death if you can't solve the puzzles.

The version I played does have its problems, but then again it was about 75% complete.

Oh, Saw, the game. I thought the title was just a sentence.

Just my opinion thats all. Ultimately unless you like the SAW films you are unlikely to buy it so i can't see it selling well. Obviously i could be completely wrong.
