I personally own a Dahon Speed TR folding bike. That one has full mud guards, a 27 gear rear hub system, front and rear luggage holders, a dynamo hub on the front and a pretty tough steel frame (designed for cycle touring). With all those extras, my bike is still almost 3 kg's lighter. I dread to think just how unnecessarily heavy the frame is on this Saxon bike.
On the plus side, it uses basic Shimano gear, and the steel frame is more supple than aluminium - so it will give a more comfortable ride. Not a bad price ... but just don't expect this to either be quick, or easy to carry! & as with all bikes like this, get the wheels tightened and trued after your first 20 or so miles.
They're deadly dangerous if you're stationary at a junction at night.
I've heard of fatal accidents caused due to cyclists not being visible to oncoming traffic.
My point though was that for a bike with such basic equipment, it is v.heavy. Certainly something for people to consider before they choose this. A good price though - heat added
The ‘Fold it’ bike from Saxon is great for commuting or using on camping trips away if you don’t have a tow bar or bike rack.
Easily folded in seconds, it goes from a full 13” framed bike to an easily transported package of just 80 x 60 x 40cm, making it small enough to be kept in most car boots.
Weighing just 15.2kg, it’s portable enough for trains or buses as well as for storing under the stairs.
Road tested
Small wheelers are fun to ride and the Saxon doesn’t disappoint. The gears are responsive, the brakes more than up to the job and overall stability is good, whilst the all important padded saddle is comfortable enough to cushion even occasional users.
Have no fears about the integrity of the frame, once unfolded it is absolutely rigid, the main thing that stands out is how quickly you’re able to barrel along, more than enough to keep up with other commuters. The seat and handlebar height are easily adjustable and we found it was equally suitable for men and women alike, ranging from 5"6 to 6"2.

I was once told by a Marlboro man that cigarettes were good for my health...
Personally, I take website blurbs with a pinch of salt. From a real world user, 12.1kgs for a folding bike is quite heavy - and certainly makes it a little awkward when getting onto trains/public transport. The 15.2kgs of this overweight Saxon just makes things even more awkward.
I am not saying this is a bad bike --- just saying that it is overly heavy...and to bear that in mind before you expect to be able to jump aboard trains and buses with it. As I say though, heat added for it being a steel frame with (basic) shimano components.

How is something that works silly?
The folding bikes are great if you have to get a train or bus and a recumbent is great for long distances because the aerodynamic shape makes them fast.

Don't think you can use the 15% off with weekly specials. Back of coupon says "Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer (inc. weekly deals & coupons."
+ In rush hour, you will likely get away with a folding bike, some trains in peak hours wont let you on with a "full" bike
+ At work, you can take your bike inside the building (under desk) so no fear of robbery
+ At home, you can store the bike under your stairs - as opposed to going out to shed or garage (convenient)
+ You can take the bike "in the boot" of your car somewhere else to hook up with friends. No carrier needed.
I got one of the Dahons on a deal on this very website. I am amazed at how I much I like the silly thing :)
Seriously!?
i would give them a ring to be sure i expect there may be a little assembly to do
