Copied from when it was a previous deal at asda, but this is sainsburys they usually have this deal on now and again, been waiting :)

Were £1.93 a pack, now down to a pound. These are just like Ikea meatballs and are absolutely scrummy! They can be eaten straight from the packet, but are much nicer hot.

"Our magnificent meatballs are PERFECT in pastas, stews, salads, pizzas and even as tasty snacks. And because you deserve THE BEST, we only use cuts of ETHICALLY REARED meat and other TASTY INGREDIENTS in our ADDITIVE-FREE and PRESERVATIVE-FREE meatballs. So go on, TUCK IN."

These don't last 2 minutes in our house - 5 year old girl being the worst culprit !
The "REAL MEAT" logo makes me think.

Apart from ikea itself, anyone know where you can get the sauce to accompany these wonderful salty balls?
#23

#25

Ikea published the recipe. It's listed on the link below. I've tried it a few times with homemade meatballs and it comes up pretty good.

The Scan Swedish Meatballs STINK when you open the pack but they smell fine and are super tasty once you cook them.

Think these aren't bad for what they are.
#28
Sorry but they're nothing like the Ikea ones! These are much cheaper and poorer quality, though still passable

Great value for a quid.

Even better when you can taste them at least 5 times after you've finished eating them.

Love these, makes a quick easy meal

For the lazy ones like me, Colmans do a packet of "Swedish meatball sauce" which is pretty similar to the Ikea stuff - you should be able to find it in most supermarkets !
