Just noticed that Scan are taking Pre-orders for Euro Versions of the Wii Console for just £234.99 delivered (if you sign up to one of the free carriage offers). Scan will also supply a UK Power adapter or lead.
Might be of use to somebody rather than chancing Ebay or a Euro seller. Also noticed that Overclockers have stock of the Wii -but the price is a rather crazy £328.99*

You can always guarantee that Overclockers put their customers first and never think of cashing in and making a quick buck ... lol.

Wouldnt it be cheaper if you bought it yourself from amazon.de or something like that? Ive not heard any negative feedback yet regarding purchasing from abroad. Would be interested to know if there is any.

Amazon de and fr stopped shipping Wiis to the UK last week.

UK retail is £179, so scan are cashing in a little on the low stock levels too.

Nintendo are stupid, they don't sell as many as they could do by artificially limiting UK stocks as they are currently doing.

That's very kind of them - quite a pricey Power adapter at £55 though - must be top of the range........:whistling:

I cannot believe that the Wii has not dropped in price in a whole year, the cheapest I saw them was £154.99 at a local argos over the summer, and for tehre to be another shortage this christmas is just crazy.

I was lucky to get one from the UK on release day, plus managed to get one from amazon.de before christmas which I subsequently sold (to cex) - no problem whatsoever :)
