Scart to phono/S-video Adapter Switchable £1.04 delivered by TheAVSeller at Amazon
I always seem to need one or even two of these when hooking video stuff together, even in the HDMI era. Definitely useful when transferring those old family video tapes to computer.
If this is too cheap for you, there is a gold plated one at £2.75 delivered here:

I am wondering the same thing. Seems like a bargain, delivered but I am unsure what all the code in the title means.

Scart is the name of the plug/socket on the back of the old VHS video tape recorders, also found on DVD players and freeview boxes. This is an adapter. It lets you connect RCA type phono leads and s-video leads to a scart socket. These are the leads you use to connect to a video capture card on a computer, or to an older tape-based camcorder. This adapter has a switch, so you can use the connections as either output from the scart socket, or input to it. If you need to do these things, you would have instantly understood what this was from the information in the title.
Don't count on that, it sometimes takes me a while to work things out. But I kindof get the gist of what you said and started to read it a couple times more but then got to thinking about what was for tea and gosh dammit my mind wandered.oO
But I 'like' your comment for taking the time out to try explain this to this schlub and I hope someone else finds it helpful too. Well done, young man.
