Coincidentally I downloaded the "Fat Roles Expansion Pack (Game Pack)" [Three additional character classes; The Pirate, The Ninja, The Giant] for "Fat Princess" just this morning.

I can also recommend "Joe Danger"; over the last weekend I bought the "New Character Bundle (Game Pack") ["Ride with NEW characters such as the ghoulish 'Sir Bonehead' or the egg-cellent 'Chicken Joe'. Monkey around with 'Chuckles the Chimp' or let loose your War-Cry as 'Geronim-Joe', the fearless Native American. Show off your characters unique new moves multiplayer or hilarious replay videos!"].

The other titles you mentioned, 'fc', are also now on my "must, must" buy list.

I already have "DeathSpank" & the follow-up title, "DeathSpank: Virtues of Thong", as well as "Burn Zombie Burn.....in Space".

Thank goodness... as there is a plethora of gaming entertainment to behold & I've only got 3 x £20 PlayStation Network cards left to spend! :)

As LotusJas mentioned above, a vast improvement on recent weeks/months (/years?), Sony!

A very merry Christmas ahead.

BFN,

The "...In Space!" levels are much like you would expect, 'DK'. Just a different setting, but with slightly modified weapons. The original humo[u]r is still there, but I'd recommend buying the main title & trying that to see if you like it before committing to the additional levels.

The "...In Space!" Game Pack has 2 new maps on board the Alien's Mothership; Engine Room & the Mothership Bridge, playable on all 4 game modes, plus 4 new challenges.

You're very welcome.

There is "Tales of Monkey Island™ - Demo (Playable Demo)" relating to "Chapter 1 : Launch of the Screaming Narwhal" available to download if you wish to sample the entertainment prior to the sale commencing.

It was first available on 15 June 2010 & has a 227MB download size.

Bit gutted i didnt wait that bit longer to get Blue Toad. Bought ep1 when it was 99p, then bought 4-6 for a cheap price a few months back, been waiting on an offer for the other 2 (2 + 3) but could have got them all now for a lot cheaper.
May get Fat Princess tho

"Joe Danger (Full Game)" is currently USD 14.99 in the "Holiday Collection - Best of 2010" section of the US PlayStation Store.

I do not know if it is going to fall in price again this year; but I bought it at £10 from the European PlayStation Store on the day of release & regularly return to it. Well worth the price I paid.

...

Have you beaten my high scores yet, 'fc'? ;)

Right random question does the Sonic Adventure DX have the unlockable Game Gear Games that there were in the actual "physical" copy of the game..?

Sorry, I believe the PlayStation Network (& Xbox LIVE) version upgrades the original PC "Sonic Adventure" title to include all of the features from (both) the Gamecube (& PC versions) but the Game Gear (mini-)games & Dreamcast downloadable content has not been ported.

I am just missing Episode 2 of "Blue Toad Murder Files"... but the newly discount price for all six Episodes is a bargain for the fun you can share with family members at Christmas.

"Fat Princess", on the other hand; perhaps not one to play with some of your relatives!

Did you notice the "Fistful of Cake" [PSP] title has been dropped in price as well?

We both missed seeing details of the Demo of "Mass Effect 2" though.

:) I've not played either of the "DeathSpank" titles myself, but one of my kids is almost 100% through the first & a couple of hours into the second.

From what I have overheard, the second title is just as funny & just as engaging to play as the previous instalment.

If you liked the original, I'm sure the follow-up title will be just as entertaining for you. Very well written thoughout.

Mass Effect 2 PS3 Demo Hits Next Week
Give Shepard a test drive.
December 13, 2010
by Jim Reilly

PlayStation 3 owners finally looking to play BioWare's sci-fi RPG Mass Effect 2 will get a chance to do so starting next week.

On Tuesday, Dec. 21, a Mass Effect 2 demo hits PlayStation Network in North America. The demo is available in Europe starting Dec. 22. EA did not mention any specifics about its contents.

Mass Effect 2 for PlayStation 3 will be out on Jan 18. 2011 in North America and Jan 21 in Europe.

The publisher also confirmed yesterday that the newly announced Mass Effect 3 will launch simultaneously on all three platforms, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, during Holiday 2011.

Thank you, RossMission.

Yet another site I have to monitor on a regular basis for updates! :)

PS. All: This deal thread just entered the Moderation queue temporarily because I changed the listed price of "Ferrari: The Race Experience" as it was posted incorrectly in the original blog article.

The price shown in the deal description is now correct:
* Ferrari: The Race Experience (was £11.99/€14.99 now £7.99/€9.99)

Thanks to the HotUKDeals Moderators for returned the thread promptly.
Also thanks to Peterdj41 for contacting me privately with the same details.

A whole 80p off Flight Control HD wow X)

I was holding off getting Pac Man and Space Invaders just in case they were in the sale and it paid off. I've played Space Invaders at a mates now and don't like it though! With the default weapon the game is ridiculously unfair, but with the weapons you unlock you pretty much can hold the fire button and complete the game..

@nebno6 be careful, Turtles in Time isn't nearly as good as the SNES game its meant to be a remake of. Voodoo Dice, well, there's a demo you can decide yourself.

I have a PS3 but I don't really use it much or go online with it, most of the free time which I have to play games, which isn't as much as I would like unfortunately, goes on XBL.
