It's a long shot, but does anyone know what the latency is like on these for Moonlight game streaming? Or can recommend something cheap and decent?

I bought the Amazon Fire TV 4K for this very purpose and it's awful - 50ms and upwards. Now need something cheap just for Moonlight.

Thanks

Not this cheap, obviously, but I Think I've seen some steam link deals on here...

Thanks, but I want to stay down the Moonlight/NVidia encoding line - seems a lot better quality than Steam Link.

Thanks, I have ordered one as I already have an Amazon 4K Fire TV Box but can not watch anything from it on my projector as it has not got a separate audio out.

Hopefully I can install Kodi on this and watch the films on the projector :)

This is a better shot http://www.gearbest.com/tv-box-mini-pc/pp_366029.html

2GB of ram. Its fast and responsive, best Android box I've ever had and under £30.

it was £23.60 but not only has sterling devalued but gearbest have put the price up as well from $30 to $33.99. That's what I bought it for. Though not shipped yet as on back order

There have been no updates since i bought it. Not really needed anyway, seems to be running smooth. I came from an Amazon firebox which updated its way into the box under the stairs.

I think you mean spmc will not run on it.

If you read who he was replying to, it was in reference to the 4k Amazon Fire box

Seconded. Big difference in viewability - paired with home plugs will be MUCH better

I have live TV on Kodi and it's pretty damn good on the box I have suggested. 2GB ram is the minimum in my view.

It's working out which one though - Amazon Fire TV 4K is higher spec (2gb etc) but pants. Remarkably little info on it out there. I think it comes down to the encoding ability of the chip rather than the RAM - hence Pi beats Fire TV...

Thanks but I want to connect it to my 5.1 surround sound system when I use it with my projector, it is fine on my TV as I can use the audio out of the TV into the surround sound but not when using the projector.
