might purchase one to ride to the gym on, lol(_;)

Awesome, this would be great on the black diamond courses in Wales and Scotland....

Schwinn - not a serious brand (US mass market). Presumably made in China?

20+ miles range

LOL

Despite the other comments this is a great deal. As for Schwinn not being a serious brand - in the USA it is a high prestige brand. This bike is considered to be leading edge with a great battery and charges in just 30 mins and not several hours. Thank you to the person who found the deal.

I have brought one - it looks like a beautifully engineered and made product. It does however come in a dozen or so bits and is going to take an hour or so to put together. I would have paid another £50 for someone to do it for me! I will tell you how good the bike it once I use it.

OK I got the bike.... I guess it took me one hour to put the thing together .... for someone who is more mechanical and dexterous than me I reckon they could do it in 10 minutes (I am not joking). I bought my wife one as well and the second one took me 20 minutes. All you have to do is fit the front wheel on (easy) attach the electrics (3 colours to match.... easy buy I got it wrong the first time) and put the seat on. Not much else really.
The bike is fantastic - I have done a lot of cycling and this is an incredibly smooth bike - even without the electrics its a great bike.
With the electrics on - as long as you peddle it will push you to 12 mph. As soon as you stop peddling or break the electrics go off.
At 3 grand or whatever mad price they were selling the bike at originally.... frankly I'd walk....but at 600 odd quid - its a fantastic deal.
