Thought the globe is illuminated from the base... but its NOT, sorry :)

I'm interested in getting one, particularly since I'm a primary teacher and it would be cool to use in class). The measurements sound really small though.
Does anyone have one yet? Are the measurements accurate?

any codes for delivery pls? none near me.

Have got one of these, but have so far not been able to get it to hover. Is it not very well designed, or am I just not getting it right? It's not lit apart from 3 small LED lights in the base.

Unfortunately, Argos dont do codes :)

These devices use microprocessors and feedback to rapidly switch the electromagnets on and off in such a way as to allow whatever it is to hover.

What usually needs to be done is to suspend the globe between the magnets and keep it held there - if it's like the other ones I've seen you'll hear a beep when the processor balances the feedback and the globe will float. :)

Took both of mine back, too difficult to get to float and really boring when they eventually did. Far to fiddly to be any fun and way too small.:thinking:
