Science Museum Hydrophobic Sand has been treated
with silicon vapour giving it non-polar properties so it cannot bond
with water and, therefore, can never get wet. It is non-toxic and
completely harmless. It makes an excellent executive toy or gift for
science-minded kids and adults.

No, but it might stop you having babies, if you pour... I'll stop right there I think.

No. Your thinking of bats. I can see how the confusion arose though.

I wouldn't like to use the microwave again after baking sand in it covered with scotch guard, looks a bit noxious. I think it would cost more than 50p to get a new microwave.

An hour in the microwave? Cheaper to buy the Sainsburys stuff.

All the Science Museum stuff went weeks ago at Kempston Sainsburys, so it's not nationwide.

isnt this moon sand?@)
no - moon sand is the one that feels like sand but sticks like dough, so you can make figurines out of it. This one is the one that doesn't get wet

No, that's finely grated parmesan you're thinking of.

it will cost more than 50 pence for a new microwave. needs to be in oven or a grill, not a microwave. if you see in the videos they use metal trays. you put metal in there risk of high energy build up chance of ignition and good chance of fire or poorly microwave

unless you have a microwave with grill. and use it with out with microwave.

I think either it's past your bedtime or you need to bystand a while longer (_;) Reading the comments all I can see is folks having fun - the deal has reached 362 degrees of heat so I doubt the poster is complaining about the attention their deal post has received.

Amazing how they come up with this stuff. How did they discover it and what did they think they were doing when they did?!
