I think I'll forward this to my cousin who's in the Special Reconnaissance Regiment, government cuts have left them with budget binoculars from Jessops.
If you're spending this much, spend the extra to get this model:

Helios ED60

ED lens for under £190 and has been reviewed around the net as the best scope under £400. I was looking at this last year but ended up getting a Nikon Fieldscope ED second hand.

It's sold as the Theron Saker overseas: Review
perfect for the sexy neighbours, we all know youve been there :p

They look identical to the 7 day shop ones..... and i bet they are the same, just rebranded.

Have to admit they look the same, but you can see why I was not able to X-ref with a search. Excusing the pun - it brings into focus the oft asked question; "what's in a name?" - in this case the answer is £4.50..... (_;)
Ok thanks for that info.
I see these are 8X and the 7 day shop are 10X.... but if you look at the 10X Practica on Scopes & Skies, every bit of the build looks exactly the same as the 7 day shop ones.
Which leads me to believe that these bino's are rebranded for a number of different suppliers.

I've got the 7 day shop ones.... and they're about as good as all cheap bino's.

Ive got these http://www.amazon.co.uk/7dayshop-Binoculars-Compact-Silver-QUALITY/dp/B003736E7U how do these differ?, sorry not that knowledgeable on binoculars!.

Looks to me like they came from the same factory. Different badge. I've bought from Scopes'n'Skies before, often have some good deals. I see they have a pair identical to yours (10 x 25) for £13.99 so you got a good deal. I guess that makes this deal a bit chilly.
