What's a Debras?

OP is yet to clean his screen

Or OP used this product to clean the keyboard as well as his screen. Go ahead and buy if you have amuse for the emptied spray bottle or the tiny cleaning cloth. The liquid will help you spread any muck more evenly across the screen but won't actually remove it.

But recommend a microfibre cloth and a tiny amount of water

Thanks OP I dont think these are much use. I am fortunate as no little sticky fingers go near my screen, I clean/dust it with a soft microfibre cloth which is used for the TV and nothing else. Give it a good shake/flap after use and keep it in a plastic bag. Handwash every month. Sony TV is now 6 years old and looks as good as new. My grandchildren or their freinds do occasionally touch my daughters TV screen. Just spray some glass cleaning liquid (LIDL) onto a clean microfibre cloth or soft tissue and clean as needed then a clean cloth to, polish. I would NEVER spray a liquid directly onto the screen.

Just make sure you use distilled water, more so if you live in a hard water area.

In saying that, I now use this, as it actually works and is far better than some chemical gunk, which is what most of these screen cleaners use, which in some cases makes the problem actually worse.

Ecomoist Natural Screen Cleaner 100ml with Fine Microfiber Towel

(they also do a 50ml bottle for £2 cheaper)
