Really good reduction. And with that many drill bits you could trash the entire house dead easy! Nice find.

Nice deal, I got a new drill for Xmas after my old one was stolen from the shed along with the drill-bits, so this is really good timing!

£12.33 with delivery

Alternatively buy 7 and get 10% off and then form a club by giving them to friends for birthdays. Think of the damage that could be done then lol

Good spot

wont they match their own web-prices ?

I took in a print out for a oil filled radiator a few days ago ( £27) and they sold me it for that. I'm sure it was listed in-store for a few quid more..

http://www.screwfix.com/search.do;jsessionid=RKAZ1DLZSNFSICSTHZOSFFI?_dyncharset=UTF-8&fh_search=oil+filled+radiator&searchbutton.x=0&searchbutton.y=0&searchbutton=submit

seemed to be same heater at 2 different prices I wanted to make sure I paid lower price..

Maybe they just wont match 'deal of the day' instore ? Seem strange - but I'm a screwfix newbie.

cheers

I have had this set for nearly a year now and had no problems with it - good find, excellent price!
#13
Great deal for me

Been looking for drill bits for ages but seem so expensive for a few bits.
Probably more than I wanted but cant complain at that price.

Hot for me !

Makita make good Power tools as for their drill bits etc... Well lets just say they are not the best things they ever make. Stick to manufacturers that specialise in bits like Trend and Wera if you want solid Drill bits that will last. Simmilar thing to watches. Never buy a designer watch as they don't know how to make watches! Stick to a quality watch brand and you cant go wrong!

Bought a couple of sets plus a few other items to make it up to £50
Used 6% Quidco cashback and the 10% code £45 total.
Fitting my own kitchen soon, so now have tools to do the job.
Nice find and good price

Great deal,

Just been down to store in Huddersfield, initially came up as 12.99 but after he put the sale code in it was £7.33, so good the salesperson went and bought one himself!

Well done, hot from me!

Brocky, what's the sale code?

I'm a sucker for these!!
Hot at this price

I could do with a decent drill set that is just that and not 50-70% made up of bits I don't need. :whistling:

Nope. Price in the shop is £12.40

My local Screwfix (Solihull) honoured the web price without question.
#26
Thanks for the headsup OP. Just bought Stockport last one from over the counter. They had to go and ask the manager if they could honour the price, but thankfully they did and it was reduced to £7.33.

Cheers:thumbsup:

PS. Just opened it up and what you get and quality is great!! Thought of buying a few online, get the discount & Quidco, sit on them for a couple of weeks and see good old Fleabay to make a couple of quid.
#27
Just phoned my local in Southampton ans they are refusing to honour the web price. Pointed out that Argos, PC World etc. correct their shops prices when they differ and was told "their overheads are lower so we can't match it"!
#28
Picked up 2 of these today in the Leicester branch and was charged £7.33 each. No prive match hassle - that was what came up on the till first time.

This is an amazing bargain packed full of useful quality-looking bits and pieces. Not sure why people are being charged £12, but even at that price this is a bargain.

I've just bought a few of these and some of the extention leads and I couldn't get the 10% discount to show up at all. I put it in the special instructions box and updated but the amount didn't come down!!

Does this usually happen and get sorted out in the end or don't the codes work?

Cheers

Yes it will show the discounted price on your card statement or invoice.
I did query this myself over the phone with them earlier.

Just popped down to Screwfix, they were out of stock, but ordered me 2 sets for collection on Monday paid £7.33 each.
Good deal
Thanks

This deal is still available as of Saturday 10th January, just click the link
#38
I bought one on Friday when the offer came out and it was posted at 4.30pm the same day.

I mentioned it to be Bro-in-law last night (sat) and was still the same price so he ordered one also.

Checked now though and its up to £14.67 +5 delivery so £19.67.

Just had a phonecall from Screwfix after writing an email complaining about the local shop not honouring the web price (got my postage cost back!). The official line is the shops and the website are different so they do not have to price match. They are looking at correcting this but at have logistics issues as some outlets only do say plumbing supplies. Good If you have an outlet that pricematches but not If you haven't I suppose.:? Shame really as I am only 2 miles from my local.

Has anyone got any tracking from Quidco from Screwfix? My £50+ order arrived today, but nothing has hit my earnings page on Quidco.
