Nice idea - I don't own a cassette player though :(

if its playing in your cassette player how do you skip to the next song?

Was just thinking the same myself...would be ideal for our lasses car but how do you skip? weird...

ah i see...

"Pros: Works well in a tape player - does exactly what you'd expect. Uses controls on your casette deck to navigate (<< = prev. track, etc).

Cons: Not much use as a standalone player

No display, and the indicator lights aren't always easy to understand - sometimes hard to tell if it's working.

Resume function is confusing - the way I think it works, it only resumes after it has played an entire song?

Basically, you have no idea what this thing is doing, and you have to skip from the first track most of the time.

Other Thoughts: If you need a case for it, that's easy to find. Think about it.

The note at the top mentions it might be hard to get your SD card out - never had a problem with that, though.

No random function, in case you were wondering. Plays from first song to last, in order (alphabetical, by folder).

Bottomline: If you need something like this, it's a pretty good deal. Don't expect it to replace a normal mp3 player with a display, though. Also, keep in mind if you don't have a SD card you'll need to add the price of that to this. "

What's a cassette ? ;)

This would be a good player if it had a LCD screen and built in memory. Your better off buying a cheap 1gb mp3 player and a car audio cassette adaptor.

The point is that you don't need to buy them seperately.

Look at how popular iPod speaker docks are, you could argue that you should buy a mini-hifi and a cable to plug it in.

It's the all-in-one-ness of it that's good.
