is this junk?
Hope not, I'm going to buy one on Thursday.
Who makes them for Lidl - and Aldi come to think of it?
Bought mine tonight. Weighty feel to it, but I haven't used it yet so can't comment on the performance.
My first sds.
Its good - hope it lasts.
Presume a £100+ makita is better

Can anyone who has bought this SDS drill confirm if it have a safety clutch feature??
let me know i know how to check for you.

Can anyone who has bought this SDS drill confirm if it have a safety clutch feature??
check the manual to see if there is any mention of a safety clutch?

someone else has said there is no mention of it but it would be good for confirmation

do you have the model nubmer of the drill?

and does anyone know if they are likely to be sold out/removed by now?

Saw this a while ago and couldn't find any in one Lidl store. However, tried a different one yesterday (13/06/2010), on a whim, and they had two or three left (needless to say, that's one fewer now). For info, it was the Govan store, Glasgow.

Mine was £39.99 (£5 more, but still very reasonably priced). Looks nearly identical to the one in the photo, but has a red body.

Haven't tried it out yet. House still intact.
Can anyone tell me if this drill is good i am lookibg to buy 1 soon fron lidl this year. Thanks
